Subscription & Credit Terms

These terms apply to the assistant, the AI tool in deBub that changes your codebase on your instructions, and to the credit you use it with. They form part of our Terms of Service. If the two conflict on a subscription or credit question, these terms apply.

• Starter — $20 per month, includes $20 of credit each month;
• Builder — $50 per month, includes $55 of credit each month;
• Pro — $120 per month, includes $140 of credit each month;

Prices are in US dollars. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, including any tax we are required to charge. Every clone also comes with one month of Starter credit for free (see Free month with a clone).

You can pay monthly or annually. An annual plan costs the same as 10 months and covers 12. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and Stripe charges your saved payment method, until you cancel.

On monthly plans, the month's credit is added when the payment succeeds. On annual plans you pay once for the year, and we add the plan's monthly credit at the start of every month of that year (12 times), not all at once.

If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and we tell you in your account. You keep your credit and can use it in the meantime. If the payment is not made and the subscription ends, the rules in Cancellation and forfeiture apply.

Credit is shown in US dollars. Each time you use the assistant, we deduct the cost of that work from your balance. Usage is charged at twice the AI model provider's list price for the work done. You can see your balance and every charge in your account.

Credit belongs to your user account and is shared across all your projects. Before each request we set aside credit up to a per-request limit that depends on your plan, and we never charge more than your available balance. When your balance runs out, the assistant pauses until new credit is added or you upgrade.

When your app shows an error in the hosted preview, you can ask the assistant to fix it for free with “Fix this error”. Free fixes do not use credit and do not need a subscription. You can currently use up to 10 free fixes in any 24 hours, and up to 2 for the same error in the same project. Each free fix is limited in size. We may change these limits; the current ones are shown in the app.

Each clone you buy adds one month of Starter credit ($20.00) to your balance when the payment is confirmed, once per project. You can use it on the assistant straight away, without a subscription.

It stays usable for 30 days. If you do not have an assistant subscription when the 30 days are up, the part you have not used expires. If you do have one at that point, it becomes ordinary credit: it rolls over and is forfeited when your subscription ends, like the rest of your credit.

Unused credit rolls over from month to month for as long as your subscription stays active. There is no cap on rollover while the subscription continues.

Credit has no cash value. It cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, transferred to another account or sold. It can only be used for the assistant on debub.io. This does not affect your right to cancel a new subscription described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

• Upgrades on a monthly plan take effect immediately. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current month, and we add a prorated share of the new plan's extra credit straight away.
• Downgrades on a monthly plan also take effect immediately, including the lower per-request limit. You are not charged or refunded for the rest of the current month, and your next renewal is at the new plan's price and credit. Credit you already have stays in your balance.
• Annual plans are changed in the billing portal, which shows any amount due or credited before you confirm.

You can cancel at any time in the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you can keep using your credit until then. Until then you can also resume the plan and keep your credit. We do not refund partial periods, except under your right to cancel a new subscription.

When the subscription ends, all remaining credit is forfeited, including free credit that came with a clone. This also applies if the subscription ends because a payment failed and was not made, or because your account is closed.

We may change plan prices, included credit, the usage rate or the free-fix limits. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change to the price, included credit or usage rate affects your subscription, and it takes effect from your next billing period after that. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
