01What it becomes
A React component that ships with your app for browser storage. Reading and writing browser storage works the same way: the element’s actions write, read, remove and clear values, and its states publish them.
No extra npm package: the generated code uses React, Next.js and browser APIs only.
02What converts
- Write, get, remove and clear actions
- Values and status states
03About this plugin
Local Storage & Cookies.
Questions
- Does the Local Storage & Cookies plugin work outside Bubble?
- Not as it is: Bubble plugins only run inside Bubble. In a Next.js app it is replaced by generated code — A React component that ships with your app for browser storage.
- Will my Local Storage & Cookies settings carry over?
- Yes. deBub reads the plugin’s settings, conditions and workflows from your .bubble export and converts all of the plugin’s parts. Secret keys are the exception: you add them as environment variables.
