01What it becomes

Nothing to convert — Next.js already serves the new version. In Bubble, the plugin reloads open pages after you deploy. A Next.js deployment serves the new version on the next navigation, so the action converts to nothing on purpose.

No extra npm package: the generated code uses React, Next.js and browser APIs only.

02What converts

  • “Auto-reload page on update” (converted as a no-op)

03About this plugin

Reload on update.

Questions

Does the Reload on update plugin work outside Bubble?
Not as it is: Bubble plugins only run inside Bubble. In a Next.js app it is replaced by generated code — Nothing to convert — Next.js already serves the new version.
Will my Reload on update settings carry over?
Yes. deBub reads the plugin’s settings, conditions and workflows from your .bubble export and converts all of the plugin’s parts. Secret keys are the exception: you add them as environment variables.
