01What it becomes

Google sign-in through Supabase Auth. “Sign up / log in with a social network” using Google becomes Supabase Auth’s Google provider. Users who signed in with Google sign in the same way on the new app.

No extra npm package: the generated code uses React, Next.js and browser APIs only.

02What converts

  • Sign up / log in with Google in your workflows

03What you set up

  • Create a Google OAuth client and add its ID and secret under Authentication → Providers in your Supabase project.

04About this plugin

Google is made by Bubble itself (login service + data source). See its page in the Bubble manual.

Questions

Does the Google plugin work outside Bubble?
Not as it is: Bubble plugins only run inside Bubble. In a Next.js app it is replaced by generated code — Google sign-in through Supabase Auth.
Will my Google settings carry over?
Yes. deBub reads the plugin’s settings, conditions and workflows from your .bubble export and converts all of the plugin’s parts. Secret keys are the exception: you add them as environment variables.
