01What it becomes
A React component that ships with your app: icons, toggle, range slider and checkbox. Bubble’s Ionic plugin provides icons and iOS-style controls. The icons are drawn from the same Ionicons glyphs; the toggle, range and checkbox become small React inputs that look the same and bind to your data like built-in inputs.
No extra npm package: the generated code uses React, Next.js and browser APIs only.
02What converts
- Ionic icon (with its color)
- Ionic toggle, with auto-binding and the “checked” value
- Ionic range slider (min, max, step)
- Ionic checkbox
03About this plugin
Ionic Elements is made by Bubble itself (visual elements). See its page in the Bubble manual.
Questions
- Does the Ionic Elements plugin work outside Bubble?
- Not as it is: Bubble plugins only run inside Bubble. In a Next.js app it is replaced by generated code — A React component that ships with your app: icons, toggle, range slider and checkbox.
- Will my Ionic Elements settings carry over?
- Yes. deBub reads the plugin’s settings, conditions and workflows from your .bubble export and converts all of the plugin’s parts. Secret keys are the exception: you add them as environment variables.
