01What it becomes

A React component that ships with your app: a star rating input. The Star Rating input becomes a React input with the same min, max, step, size and colors, binding to your data like built-in inputs — no jQuery.

No extra npm package: the generated code uses React, Next.js and browser APIs only.

02What converts

  • Min, max, step, size, colors, initial value, disabled
  • Auto-binding to a field

03About this plugin

Star Rating is made by Bubble itself (visual element (input)). See its page in the Bubble manual.

Questions

Does the Star Rating plugin work outside Bubble?
Not as it is: Bubble plugins only run inside Bubble. In a Next.js app it is replaced by generated code — A React component that ships with your app: a star rating input.
Will my Star Rating settings carry over?
Yes. deBub reads the plugin’s settings, conditions and workflows from your .bubble export and converts all of the plugin’s parts. Secret keys are the exception: you add them as environment variables.
